Hi all. The Wheels on my Tuscan are in need of restoration. I'm thinking about having them totally striped and re coated in shadow chrome. So does anyone have a picture i can look at. If you could also recommend a company in Essex/Suffolk region that offer a good service that would be much appreciated.
Ta in Advance..............Dave

My Tamora is up with Surface&Design and D&C Trim in Blackpool as we speak, for a full respray in spectra Flare Silver and a full interior re-trim. I'm also having the spiders repainted in Shadow Chrome with Amourefend on the front and wheel arches.

Looking at your T350 (which I'm sure I saw at a TVRSSW Open day) which looks awesome, I can't wait to get the Tam back in July thumbup

Dave,
I think shadow chrome would be too similar to the colour of the car. Have you thought about a gloss black which will provide a contrast? Not sure if you could photoshop to see what they might look like.

Nothing like a gratuitous wheel shot and a teaser shot of my car following its 10yr refresh!

I currently have anthracite spiders on my Moonraker Black T350, which are about had it, and have been repaired previoulsy, and not to the factory colour. As Athracite are hard to come by at the moment my options are:

1 - Wait until Anthracite Spiders are available
2 - Buy silver spiders and have them sprayed either anthracite, black or shadow chrome
3 - Fit Silver spiders
4 - Ditch the spiders and buy something completely different.

Peoples opinions wouold be appreciated

Option 4 for me - either with the SP12s or something from ACTs catalogue. Much as I like the looks of the spiders I'd never buy another set as they're made out of a substance that looks like metal but warps like molten chocolate.

I'm not sure if mine are shadow chrome or just sprayed a darker colour, one of them will need a refurb as it has been slight curbed so I should find out really:

Does anyone have a paint code for shadow chrome ? I went to a wheel place today who hadn't heard of it. They had a thousand shades of silver to grey in samples but I couldn't be sure and nothing came up in their paint supplier's database for s/c. I've just acquired a Fiat 500 in black as a daily runabout and the silver alloys are kerbed. Have been tempted to change the Tuscan's anthracite spiders in due course and doing the 500 first seemed to be sensible as a sampler.
