Do you know where I can get aftermarket TPMS sensors for a 2005 Cayenne in the UK? The official ones are these, but there seem to be aftermarket ones such as these, but can't find anyone in the UK who stocks them.

I found a US seller on ebay that sells them, but no one in the UK. Shipping cost seems quite high when you try and purchase 4 (have messaged asking about combined postage).

From my understanding the Cayenne uses 2 types of sensor. 2002-2006 use a 433 Mhz high power sensor and 2007+ uses a 433 Mhz low power sensor.

Cheers

Your best bet might be to get the official Beru ones direct from the US.

As pointed out on here a couple of weeks ago, TireRack have them priced pretty well, although finding them isn't that straightforward...

You need to follow the linkand select your vehicle from the drop down menus.

You'll then see a list of wheels, under each one you can click 'View Important TPMS Info'. Once you've clicked that, you can add the sensors to your cart.

Thanks - it doesn't say on the tirerack website if they are the official ones or aftermarket. Has anyone ordered sensors from there, and what were the approximate costs for shipping and duty?

They are the OEM Beru sensors.

See here, Martian O ordered some that way.

Yep, I ordered them from TireRack and have them fitted. They are OEM Beru and work fine. See previous thread for full info. smile

Thanks chaps - looks like a lot of good information there. The price has gone up at tirerack and it's now about £265 + shipping. Will email them to find out how much that will be.

Actually, I've got a full set which were taken off mine a couple of weeks ago.

According to the OPC they were getting near the end of their life, which is probably correct as they have a 2005 build date on them, but they were still working.

You can have them FOC if you want to give them a try.

Maybe they've collared onto us Brits buying them a lot cheaper from the USA!
