Anyone had any dealings with this indy specialist? I notice on their website that they offer a similar type of lifetime maintenance plan to Hartech, but they are about 40 miles closer. Or can anyone recommend any other specialists in the North East - there is one in my home town called Nelson Porsche, anyone used them? This is all still part of my homework in preparation for a 996. Cheers in advance. smile

I use these guys and would recommend them highly. Russell is the main guy you'll speak to and he's a good guy and is always helpful and straightforward.

Just had some work done on my 997 (rack ends, wheel alignment and air con repair) and will be having my clutch sorted soon too.

My dad has a 964 and he uses them too - I believe one of their mechanics, Scott, is an air cooled expert/enthusiast. The other main mechanic is Gareth, who has worked on my car and also given it a thorough going over (including a borescope! smile at my request).

Both Scott and Gareth are Porsche trained so know their stuff.

They are a really good outfit. Now used them twice and really impressed with their knowledge and customer service. They don't push you to go for the most expensive option...they listen to,your needs and recommend accordingly.

You wouldn't be disappointed!

Agreed.

They have looked after both my Porsches and I live 300 miles from Brighouse on the south coast.

Says it all really!!

Another recommendation for Revolution, they know their air-cooled, already booked for annual service in September.

I used them in December and certainly plan to use them again (200 mile round trip for me), but have also heard good things about Jamie Nelson in Stockton

Nelson Porsche have an excellent reputation .Not used them personally but a number of mates have and first class experience from all.Dont think he does the Hartech type arrangement though but if he is local it may be worth putting your work there ?

No problem but the OP asked for a view. There 'appear' to be some plaudits for the garage from satisfied customers.

I'll just continue to get my car serviced by chaps who also know their business and provide value for money. Each to their own and as ever you pays your money and takes your chance.

Revolution, I'd highly recommend them.

I've used them since they first started up and the management know as much about customer service as their mechanics do their engines. Put them together and you have a first class package and a decent price too.

There is no elitism either. A 15 year old Boxster owner gets the same high quality service as a brand new 991 owner.

Superb.
