Scientologists at War examines the independent Scientology movement and the high level defectors who have publicly renounced their membership from the Church of Scientology.

We(I) can't get enough of this sort of thing!smile

It's a documentary based around Marty Rathbun by the looks of things, there's been a few documentaries on him and it looks like this is nothing new, it's mostly the squirrel busters crap.
Don't forget he's still a scientologist, just an independent one

Bloody Hell (or whatever it's called!) I knew they would be barking but just hearing about Hubbards' 'story' for this crap just goes to show how utterly mental anyone who believes it is.

Even Christians/Jews/Muslims et al many years ago had more excuse to buy the crocks their 'prophets' and leaders pushed back in the bad old days. Ironic that 'Science' is part of the title.

I have met a few, along with some Freezoners who have left the church but still believe the teachings of L Ron. Pretty much makes it a religion having warring splinter groups with essentially the same beliefs.

So far as I can see he just didn't like being nudged aside by Tom Cruise. I do like a good Scientology documentary though. They are pretty scary folk.

What an utter, utter bunch of s. The front of this collective bunch of deluded numpties is unreal - I do not understand how they are allowed to carry on as they do.

How is what they have done to this guy (one of many) in any way appropriate in the context of religion?

How is protesting in front of the guys house for 200 days not a form of harrassement and intimidation?

Would this be covered under stalking related legislation in the UK?

I am simply astounded that this carry-on is permitted either here, in the US or elsewhere. The Germans definitely have the right idea in their dealings with this organisation.

The day they all grow up and quit this bullst the world will be a better place.
