Stumbled across the Bugatti owners club rally when they stopped outside Holyrood Palace in Edinburgh the other day. So I pulled up and took a few shots (only had my iPhone though unfortunately).

I'd never seen any old Bugatti cars up close before and was staggered at the build quality and the simple but beautiful aesthetics of these old racers.

I found that all the owners who I spoke with were very approachable and were happy to chat away. One couple had their car (a type 37 I believe) shipped over from the states and then flew over just to attend the rally. There were people from 16 different countries attending with what must have been about 30 cars there.

Save up your pennies and take a weekend trip to Mulhouse. Two great museums there. The Railway one has a lot of interesting stuff, including a Bugatti powered railcar with the engine next to the driver and the Car museum is a certainty to be on the 'places to visit before i die' list
A veritable Bug fest including 6 Bugatti Royales When i was last there they were rebuilding a body for the chassis they have. I believe they now have a tes track where all the cars runnable are fun and here is plenty of Reacing cars to be checked over. Take a very large memory car, i think there is over 300 cars there.
