Guardians of the Galaxy

Those of you familiar with Marvel comics will know about Guardians of the Galaxy, but for those who don't, they are a group of superheroes who a friend once described to me as The Avengers in Space. Certainly got me interested in the comics, and I'm incredibly excited about the film, which is rumoured to be starting production now.
Three things that grabbed me; one, Karen Gillan (the pretty Scottish redhead from Doctor Who) is going to be a villain, and two, Yondu (google if you're unfamiliar with the comics) is going to be played by Michael Rooker, and three, Glenn Close is going to be in it in some capacity. So we have Amy Pond, Merle Dixon and Cruella Deville all in the same film.
