An epic purchase, congratulations.....now keep us updated upon the driving side of your new toy. It may be time to spoil your wife a little too. Chanel beckons along with a diamond or two!!!

"THIS 1991 LAMBORGHINI DIABLO HAS BEEN OWNED BY MYSELF FOR THE LAST 6 YEARS. I HAVE RECENTLY LEARNT THAT SEVERAL PEOPLE HAVE BEEN ON THE PISTON HEADS FORUMS AND HAVE CLAIMED THEY OWN THE VEHICLE & WE HAVE THE CAR ON SOR ? THIS IS COMPLETELY UNTRUE.

I AM VERY PASSIONATE ABOUT MY REPUTATION AND WILL NOT STAND FOR ANY RUMOURS OR LIES. IT IS VERY CHILDISH AND IS COMPLETELY OUT OF ORDER TO COMMENT ABOUT A CAR YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT, IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS OR WISH TO VIEW THE CAR YOU ARE MORE THAN WELCOME TO CALL ME PERSONALLY ON 07812122287."

Glad it's now found a new home on PH smile

Yes!

Paying for it was a bit of a faff, bank security phoned my home number for verification and wife answered, she knew nothing about it at that stage!

Mate who was with me has a traders policy so was insured to drive it back for me. I drove his car on my insurance policy.

Now locked up in my garage pending call to broker in the morning (hope they're open) so still yet to drive it on the road.

Auctioneer took bidding up to £320k, next bid would have been £330k which with commission would have been just shy of £380k. It wasn't a £380k example.

first pic: "Dad, can I sit in it?"
"no son. Wearing a tie only lets you stand next to it. Not sit on it..."

Next pic

"...Oh...."

Great car, well done!!
