New to this forum my wing mirror is loose help easy remedy please if possible

There is nothing easy about TVR mirrors!

The problem is the virtually impossible access to the grub screw whilst the mirror is installed in the car. I found the only way was to remove the whole assembly from the car and by trial and error find the correct position for the grub screw and then tighten it. Replace the mirror in the car as one assembly. One very useful tip learnt from Pistonheads was to lightly countersink a shallow hole in the aluminium base so that the grub screw stays in its correct place.
