By the kind agreement of Paul Garlick, thank you.

Hi All,

I haven't been on here for a while but I have a request for three cars, of any ilk, to display at Wings and Wheels, Saturday 24th & Sunday 25th August, supporting the Royal Navy & Royal Marines Children's Fund (RNRMCF). To clarify that is up to six separate cars for the two days.

From what I witnessed last year Wings and Wheels is possibly one of the best aircraft/car shows in the UK.

70proof helped me out last year as did one other, whose name escapes me, with an Aston.

The perk is free entry to the show for you and your passenger and the only twist is that we would like you to stay until 1600 each day.

I'll be there in my Giallo Modena 355 F1 GTS so any colour/marque combo would be great.

If you are interested please PM at simon.wright355@hotmail.co.uk or through the website.

Many thanks
Simon

I can probably do it if you're interested in an FF.

Cheers,

You are correct it is at Dunsfold, nr Cranleigh in Surrey. Yes it does clash with Carfest South. Wings and Wheels still has tickets available though. smile

You were an absolute star, thanks. I didn't have the courage to let the public jump in out of my drivers seat (ooh err). It singly raised £250 on the day, brilliant.

Hi John,

I would be very interested in an FF!

If you could do the Saturday that would be great but I can accommodate you on both/either day if you so wish?
To sway you Saturday was the better day, IMO, last year.

For clarity, the organisers preferred that we were onsite by 0830 last year. I have not, as yet, had confirmation of these timings for this year.

Many thanks
Simon

Gus,

I can definitely fit you in on Saturday, if that suits, thank you for the offer.

Yet again, thanks to PH and its moderators for allowing the post and a big thank you to John, Peter and family and Angus for offering their cars for display.

As always the cars draw the crowds and from their we inform them of the RNRMCFs work.

Thanks again and watch this space for next year.

Cheers All

Simon
