Is the Lexus LS460 a hard car to sell?

I've had my LS460 up for sale for a couple of weeks now and I can't believe the total lack of interest. Not a single phone call.
It's competitively priced, the highest spec possible, full dealer history, excellent cond. But alas not a single bite
Is it a rare beast that doesn't command many searches, or the 4.6l V8 that likes to drink...or am I missing something else?

Four things the general public don't like:
1) six figure mileage
2) Big Thirsty Petrol Engines
3) Non-German or English(ish) Luxury Cars
3) Massively expensive replacement parts - which you have thoughtfully included to scare off anyone who is sensible enough to have got past points 1 to 3.
Don't hate Lexi, and have no need for a luxury car, so no vested interest, just my observations. No idea what they go for either.
I'd remove prices of replacement fitted parts as a minimum.

Maybe Full History on time (if true) Fastidiously maintained with Loads of receipts, and major jobs done, eg, x,y,z.
Echo other comments here I think. It's certainly pricey and the mileage will put many off.
Also, the info about insurance at the end is pointless. Save that until you've got them on the hook (and the driveway) inspecting the car. All this does in the ad is make you sound difficult to deal with, which you clearly are not!

i'd say you would be better off trading it in at a dealership- probably get the same price as private.
I bought an LS430 last year, assuming that i would trade it in when i got bored of it, which i haven't yet. Not many people are going to want a 23mpg v8 petrol car, because they only look at the headline running cost figures such as mpg.
Servicing mine has been reasonable, no more than my Jaguars beforehand. Some parts prices are high ( suspension especially) but probably no more than any other premium marque. Not sure you should be quite so open (i know) in the advert, just show a pick of reams of receipts rather than detail the prices in all their glory.

This. I went for an £800 LS400 over spending several £K on one because of the (albeit small) potential for a huge bill. If anything catastrophic happens to mine it'll go to the scrappy and I'll only have lost a few hundred quid. As others have mentioned it is a tad pricey.
I would consider shortening the Ad considerably, it's not a model which people may browse randomly (A8, BMW7, S-Class) and not know anything about. If someone is looking for an LS chances are they will have done some research & know how quiet, well equipped etc it is.

I would also change the Service History paragraph to something like -

No need to mention anything else, unless you have a potential buyer in front of you thumbing their way through aforementioned invoices.
I would also prefer to see in the photo's a picture of the dashboard, taken from between the front seats as opposed to an alloy wheel but that's just personal preference.

I'm looking for something like this at the moment and, to be honest, I would want the price of this one to be starting with an 8, possibly a low 9 at a push.
As stunning as these cars are, sadly, they do not carry the badge prestige of the Germans and, combined with a reasonable thirst for fuel and a 6 figure mileage, this just doesn't make for a compelling purchase.
