Fake Companies House email?

tJust received this supposedly from [e-mail]:

"This message has been generated in response to the company complaint submitted to Companies House WebFiling service.

(CC01) Company Complaint for the above company was accepted on 12/09/2013.

Please quote this number in any communications with Companies House.

CC01 is not a complaint form and attached to the email is a 7.2kb complaint file, needless to say I haven't opened the attachment.

Google doesn't recognise the phone number, and the real e-mail address is shown at http://www.companieshouse.gov.uk/contact/contactUs... - it has a hyphen in it.

I just had one come in. Must confess, it's the first one that's nearly got me but the zip was indeed the giveaway.

Must be lots doing the rounds, as it's the first thing you get told about when you call the proper companies house helpline.

BUT, the address (on the companies house website) for phishing enquiries has NO hyphen: http://www.companieshouse.gov.uk/securityAdvice/in...
