Who is going to Goodwood? Surely more people than the Events Calendar says?

Cosmic and I will be there in our Chimaera, complete with Pistonheads sticker, on Saturday and Sunday. It would be nice to meet up with others, if at all possible.

Incidentally, if you're planning on going on Friday we have two tickets available. Worth £30, will sell for £15.

Regards
Jon

I'm going Make sure you visit the GrandPrix Legends racing sim tent. Someone has modeled the Goodwood hillclimb for GPL and there will be a competition with all procedes going to the Goodwood charity (Whizz kids I think)
The West brothers long awaited racing sim will also be launched at Goodwood www.west-racing.com

The "7" type car is for the WhizzKids stand. The Winalambo company is behind it.

Was due to go down with the usual bunch on Sunday, but owing to a bad weather forecast and horrific past experiences, it has now been decided (not by me, I might add), that we're not going. And now I can't afford it. Arse.

On Saturday, yes. Sunday is an advance ticket only event.

Tell me more. My wife and I have spent £?? each on a weekend pass (although only intending to go on Sat & Sun - anyone want to buy the Friday tickets?) and have never been before. What "horrific experiences" should we try to avoid?

I'll be there on Saturday. Taking the wife's Golf GTi as we need to use the back seats (we're taking friends, what where you thinking?!?)

Can't wait. This is my favourite motoring event of the year and I'm going to enjoy it come rain or shine.

I'll also be there, in the old waterproofs...

It rained a few years back on the Friday... and it can get kinda muddy... so make sure you take some decent boots with you - and maybe a ground sheet or somethingif you want to plonk your arse down somewhere.

As for the action... let's just say, that seeing a NASCAR head up the hill on slicks was "entertaining"...

I love the fact that the owners of these beasts (old and new) don't care a jot if it rains. Seems they just want to enjoy them to the full.

Mr Mason's Ferrari GTO is still one of my all-time favourite cars and I can't wait to hear it singing it's heart out again this weekend.

Dammit - didn't realise that was on. Oh well, maybe I'll be able to spot some blue LED windscreen washers at Goodwood....

I think the weather may be okay for Sunday (according to BBC Web Site anyway), otherwise I will be in for a soaking on the way down!

I'll be there again, on Saturday (911)
If any of you find a little black business card on your windscreen, it'll be from me.
