Not a dealer I have heard mentioned much, looking at a 911 of theirs and will go for it if I can make the man maths work.

Had a word with the owner and liked the cut of his jib, but anyone bought or sold with Chappell ?

Kier is ex Harbour Cars down the road (who are also excellent), I had a 997C2s from them while he was there, brilliant from start to finish (I dealt with Rob but Kier was also very much on hand throughout).

Very nearly bought a lovely GT2 ClubSport from Kier after he set up the Chappell Sportscars business but ended up in an F430. If I was heading back to Pork I would have no hesitation whatsoever in purchasing from him, he knows his stuff and I've never heard a bad word spoken about him or his business.

I bought my GT3 from Kier, good solid firm and an honest man to do business with.

I didn't buy from chappell sports cars but i spoke with kier during my purchasing phase and whilst I didn't buy from him he was very helpful and gave me loads of advice.

he offers a 2yr warranty which unlike other 3rd party warranty is pretty comprehensive and does cover bore scoring.

I bought my Z4M from Kier when he was at a Harbour Cars, absolutely brilliant service - Very professional, nice guy, I got the impression he does actually really care you have a fantastic and memorable buying experience.

It doesn't end with the sale either, after sales care was all I could wish for, we exchanged a few emails for a few months after the sale, it mattered to him that I was a happy customer... I felt valued as a customer... Rare these days!

It was a few years ago now, but from my experience, I would strongly recommend Kier.

Another vote for Kier. I bought my previous C2S from him at Harbour Cars four years ago. I had a few minor issues and they did everything (and more) to fix them without any quibbles. When I wanted to sell earlier this year ( for an OPC C4S) I offered it back to Kier and Harbour Cars but HC came back with a slightly better offer, but he was very professional (he even remembered me!). Had Kier or Harbour Cars had the spec I was after at the time I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again and recommend both.

Thanks all for the helpful advice. Unfortunately looks like car has gone under offer so I may have missed out but will ask him to keep an eye out for something that fits my spec given the great feedback
