Anyone heard of NYE-Autotrader?

Just had a text from NYE-AUTOTRADER wanting to buy our car. They have made an offer which we have 24 hours to respond to. Seems too good to be true.
Anyone heard of them or used them?

It will be a scam, they'll claim to use autotrader as escrow I bet.
The 24 hours bit gives it away.

I think you should do it! Remember to respond in 24 hours though else there will be no dealings for you sir. £250 handling fee but look at the offers!

This scam has been around for ages, the websites only stay up a short time and they just get as many £50s as they can in that time. Don't be surprised to get another text the same in a few days with a new website. As they say, if it seems to good to be true then it probably is.

I think they may have given the game away with this one though. NYE = New Year's Eve. Anyone reckon they'll still be around on 1st Jan?
