Signum bonnet

I have a 2005 Vauxhall signum and the bonnet pull cable is not working any ideas how to get the bonnet open

First off try getting someone to push down on the front of the bonnet while you pull the lever in the car.

Failing that you may need to sacrifice the grill. go to a dealer and ask to see under the bonnet of one to see if you can get to the cable with a coathanger.

Removed the grille removed a plastic trim got to the lock opened it with a pry bar
