Anyone know whether the decent rocker drought ever ended? Need a couple if anything worth buying is now available (just found half a pad after lifting a cover)? If not I might be biting the bullet and going Yella Terra... irked

Should be ok with the covers Nigel as I use the cast TVR type that don't have the baffles in them... any issues installing the YTs or did they drop straight in?

The heavier covers with the TVR logo actually cast into them (ie not a badge). They don't have the internal baffles or bosses so I gather they will go over rollers. Like rocking horse poo to source 'though. Not seen any come up for years now.

Hi, my original rockers have done 56k and the pads look fine.
I've also sourced new rocker shafts, springs and steel rockers.
Is it better to use the alloy rockers or go with the new steel ones?
Cheers.

Arse I'll have to look out for a pair, I know the ones. John eales and v8dev used to their own covers and even they are impossible to get

I have lost count the number of times I have tried to get the spacers to seal.

Not sure where you got the info from, but just to clarify:

Roller rockers will fit under the TVR cast covers, but you can have problems in the middle (twixt pots 3/5 & 4/6 where there is a dent in the covers) depending on the width of the rocker arms. Outriggers fit fine, beefier pedestals fit fine. Crane rollers fitted fine, Kenne Belles were too wide so had to grind a little off the corners and inside the casting. As with everything you have to check carefully for clearance on assembly.... They 'will/can' fit & they 'do' fit have subtly different contexts wink

Studs & long nuts work extremely well with these covers also smile which makes them actually quite a pleasant job to pop off & on rofl
