Fitted these last week.

I personally think they totally transform the front end of the car, in a good way. Certainly prettier. I love them!

Opinions?

I agree, they look fabulous. What lights have you under them?

I would only fit them with the lupo lights behind because the standard lights are rubbish .

Standard ones, which I agree are crap. Unlit roads in heavy rain I can imagine are a bit ugggh.

But the conversion is removable believe it or not. So a swap is always possible!

Looks good. I'm interested once I get a few other items sorted. How hard was it to fit, any issues?

There you go!

They really weren't that hard to fit, just patience and attention to detail required. If you look on the website you'll see it's something like 16 steps but the 2nd one I did took about 1 and a half hours work, albeit 2 days in total for curing times and stuff.

A good 50% of the steps carried out are to ensure perfect waterproofing, which is understandable!

One issue actually with my car was that the headlamp lens sits slightly too far forward on one side, causing the acrylic cover to sit with a 1.5~2mm gap between it and the body on the top side. No problem in the end- it was all waterproofed up and then masked properly with bendy masking tape and I thumbed in some carbond sealant into the gap with white spirit.

Tidied it up perfectly and added extra waterproofing.

Looking good.

I was set to fit a pair of these but bought a car with the faired in lights instead!

Actually liking his hardtop option on that site too. My soft-top is getting tired and was looking for a new one in the future, but that hard top is great!

yeah but us Chim owners like to be able to get the roof in the boot...

I have these fitted and the car looks 100% better IMHO

The price I paid was £395 but there are various options you can have, including body colour cowls, thick border lenses and thin border lenses. Smoked or unsmoked...

I think they look excellent Alex, never seen them on a green car before, now you've got me thinking but I really need the stone chips done first though. Hmmm

I do think these look good, especially on darker cars.

but ...... unless you can do this all yourself, it's no cheaper than getting the Mk3 Headlamp upgrade for around £750 fully fitted including new headlamps, bulbs, paint etc.
