Love this advert: http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/t...

And who says TVRs are unreliable! 141k miles and it must be a good on to be offered for sale by James Agger.

There is an article on TVR power under the news section that puts this to shame.

It's the 1st story T350T just booked in for 200,000 service biggrin

Not my problem that their web site is not up to date wink

Makes it even more interesting then to think what the current mileage is.

Anybody know?

141k miles on a 12 year old car is less than 12,000 a year.
It's under average UK mileage.
What's odd about that?
Nice looking car.....

I am surprised no one has bought this car it seems totally rebuilt to me. There are many restored classics with high mileages that people will pay a fortune for, or am I missing something.

Regards

Nick

OOPs just checked it has been sold, personally I think that could be a very shrewd buy.

It was me that snapped up this high miler after some consideration.

It remains to be seen exactly what I have purchased as I have been away from the UK since agreeing the purchase. Seeing that it is coming from James Agger who has an excellent reputation and the car has a HUGE amount of history I am hoping that I have got a good one.

The previous owner seems to have just done all the maintenance regardless of cost. The only thing that i can see about it on the surface which needs sorting out is the interior which has been retrimmed to a very poor standard and the removable roof which has been painted which i dont like at all. When I pick it up in the middle of April it will be going to Dave Batty at the Garage who did a great job looking after my Chim for years so he can cast his knowing eye over my new toy. Seeing as it is going to be my daily drive I need to know she is as good as she can be!

I will post some pictures when I get them and post some details of what we find!

Well done just saw this thread and was thinking wow that makes sense rather that than a car with 30000 miles and owner says still drives well full service history as probably selling as he realises its about to get expensive
Good buy I suspect well done on taking the chance great to see a car well used loved and still looking good makes you realise in 20 years time these cars will still be around and loved

Drove it when I was looking for my tamora, it went well. I just couldn't get my head around the mileage and the relative price.

I took the car for a long test drive and had a fair look over it. Didnt seem much wrong with it mechanically though it needs some love asthetically and I got it at a price that reflects this!!! smash

I will have to wait and see what is hiding underneath the car once I get it up on ramps I guess!

Hello James,

I have had no dealing with yourself or your company but am well aware you hold a very good name in the TVR circle.(You did't have what I was after at the time)

I have also limited experience dealing with sales to the direct public but was a Director of three companies.

I just clicked on your profile and can see a TVR Cerbera on the back of a truck. smile

Is that good advertising? laugh

I'm sure you have 100's of photo's that would sell your image far better. Just a thoughtsmile

I'm sure James can speak for himself but a lot of well-established high end companies pick up their stock on a truck, and I suspect that is what the picture shows. Saves needing 2 people to pick a car up, also said truck appears to have the company logo plastered all over the bonnet.

Perhaps with a few more car sales he could get one of these trucks smile

So Triggers Broom has FINALLY made it safely to its new home. It has been a bit of a saga getting it to this stage through no fault of the cars but it is finally here.

It would seem so far so good. It is amazing to drive and great to be back in a TVR!
