Very odd looking decals on there, the rocker covers are wrong for the normal 450 motor and 360 BHp - yeah right!Anyway hows things Ron... not seen you for a while fella?

All good thanks Chris. 350 had run out of MOT in November - knew the nearside outrigger was crusty so took it off the road for winter to give it a going over. Turned out to be a lot worse than I thought , now all replaced with new steel. The off side was in great shape , been replaced not too long ago , thought the previous owner would have done both as if ones gone the other can't be too far behind..... Bit of paint on the outriggers then I can put her back together , adjust handbrake , fix non-working reverse lights then it's MOT time Chris
How goes with you ? You not in San Francisco currently?
If all goes well should be back for sausage meets end of this month or beginning of April

That used to be running around Halifax about 12 years ago, it was looked after by the BMW specialist who managed to keep my old 318i on the road. He wasn't a happy bunny when he had to replace the manifold gaskets! Glad to see it's still going strong, looks better than I remember it.

Went to have a look at the Steiner 450 this evening. There's a few stress cracks, rear bumper shows signs of rust fighting its way out (just like mine). Main body has an orange tinge to the colour but both the bonnet and boot lid are a different shade of red. Although it states 360bhp the engine looked remarkably standard considering the claimed power output.
Overall though it looked straight and in average condition and if the power is anywhere near claimed then for the target price the power to cash ratio seems very good.
Be interesting to see what it actually sells for....

Remember looking at this wedge in the very early nineties when it was for sale with jon waggit at sports and specialist cars at boroughbridge .It sounded superb and he showed me the engine spec sheet stating the supposed power output. It was certainly a mint car back then .Would be nice to see it back to its former glory

Despite an estimate of £4k to £5k the Steiner didn't sell yesterday. So much for the much talked about increase in Wedge awareness, appreciation and potential escalating prices!
That's a shame Empty words maybe, but I'd have gone for it if I were in the market, and not already wedged up
