The sun is out and I'm pining for my V8Roadster 4.3 which is at Bamford Rose waiting for the twinplate clutch and switchable suspension upgrade - mandatory picture below (at Hartwell House Hotel on the way up to BR):

I always feel so special and exclusive driving it - came as a bit of a shock to see so many stacked up at BR -including some MUCH more impressive cars I will not name:

Can't wait for Friday - Mike has offered a familiarisation on the track at Millbrook when I pick her up… should look the same on the outside, (barring new tyres and a scratch-fix) but driving ought to be a new experience.

I hope I'm not nuts spending so much on a seven year old car - fingers crossed it feels amazing!

Good to see Yeti's car is being used as a cushion in case the car on the lift drops!

Oooops - they warned me not to include number plates to identify any customer's car - but V12Woollie you have rather given the game away!

Yeti please let me know if you want the pic removed - and BTW if that is your car I really, really like the colour combination - the green on green with cream is lovely - I thought mine was my favourite until I saw yours. Not so sure now!

It's traditional for BR projects to have a name isn't it? I don't think mine has - maybe you need to be upping the power more (I get about 20 extra BHP from modding the catalyst) or perhaps "pimping" the outside or interior too to get a name for your project?

I'd agree with Molly mate, best thing I ever did was leaving my car at BR for a week. As I quite often state, "best automotive decision I ever made". I'm waiting for my clutch to go, then it'll be back in for the twin plate and flywheel. It's in very, very safe hands (apart from being in close proximity to Yeti's motor, which may make you habitually hungry and buy watches).

Don't worry we can all spot Yeti's car. Its the layers of dirt that give it away

I doubt Lewis will care but good of you to offer to remove the picture. As has been said, many people here will recognise the green machine without seeing the plate.

Naw, of course not. Nice to see it, we spent a few hours together at Rockingham and then it was whisked away again for more fiddling ready for Le Mans smile The colour gets me every time... Chiltern Green is a stunning shade smile

Aha -well it'll be keeping mine company -sadly delayed- I'm on the bicycle this weekend! Sure it'll be worth the wait.

-Chiltern Green - well it looks really great in the flesh... Maybe if I ever get a re-spray... Though I think it needs the light interior to really set it off.

Excited: tomorrow is pickup day... (After a delay caused by parts)

Bamford Rose have added

Switchable suspension
Twin plate clutch and lighter flywheel
catalyst mod
Cruise control
Michelin sports tyres all round

Going to try it out at Millbrook in the morning - should feel like a new car smile
