1 day hire from Caterham South (Crawley) Where to go?
Discussion
As per the thread title, I'm getting a Caterham for the day from Crawley but I dont know the area at all. I have 120 miles to play with.
I'm hoping a few of you have done the same thing in the past and wondered if you could suggest some good 'B road' routes or hidden gems to let me experience the car at its best?
Thanks in advance.

Go south on the A23 to Bolney and then head west along the A272, one of the greatest roads in the south. Get to Petworth and either head south to Goodwood, or carry along the A272 west.
Try and do a circular trip via Arundel, Worthing and then head to Edburton, following the downs road along to Fulking and Poynings. Head north to Henfield and then back to Crawley. Job done and some great pubs along the way.

I usually take my Caterham out on the roads near Biggin hill. A few very good pubs there. I can't remember the names of the roads but will give you some links;
The White Bear a 16th century pub;

Botley Hill Farm, another 16th century pub.

I can't get links to work so copy and paste them.
I have to say these are two really nice pubs and can vouch that they have good beer gardens very good food and the roads are definitely fun to drive around, all of them being country roads.
