Meet: Wickham Square 10AM
Depart: 10:30AM on a fantastic route.

(MAP on Pg 3)

Stop off at The Percy Hobbs pub for a drink and allow for a regroup.

Contiune on more of Hampshires best roads back to Wickham.

Finish time: Probably just before it gets dark

I would imagine the A32 / A272 might be in there + a stop at a couple of places to collect more people + a stop at a suitable pub en-route?

Any suggestions on the route and meeting places welcome!

Dec 28th, South/Hants run down to Brighton. Met at Little theif, A272 Seven stars, Goodwood, Brighton..

Maybe something similar...?

Goodwood rendezvous sounds favourite to me and then a stop at a pub between there and Brighton. Maybe a final stop on the seafront?

A chance to get out of the house and escape the family post-Crimbo?

Sounds good to me - just let me know when and where

Ok as this now seems to be a TVR only run (god some them are as anal as MG owners) are the rest of us still going to do something?

Yep, I'm still up for it. Being an ex-TVR owner, I'm glad you pointed out that only some of them are anal!

Shame the thread was hijacked, I've always found it makes for a good run/meet and subsequent conversation, having a mix of manufacturers and capabilities. I'll drop some emails out to a few who may be interested from GL/Berks/Hants way, including TVR owners obviously!

At least the 'hijack' now points out that the other run is exclusive to TVR's and other PH'rs aren't welcome...

Cheers,

John

P.S. at least this has given me a good laugh on a Monday!

O.K lads put your toys back in yer prams
After last years event we decided to try and make it a annual (not anal) Hants TVRCC meet.
I suggested to Geoff on another thread that he should arrange PH run over the festive period as he was enquiring about meets, Craig(cerber450) Was only pointing out that the X-mas Hants TVRCC run was planned, in an attempt to stop Hants TVRCC members double booking them selfs over the period.. no offence
p.s if you don`t get fixed up you might find something here www.maxpower.co.uk

Is it worth suggesting a different date and starting a new thread?

I still want to do one either on the 28th or 29th - still meeting in or around Bishops Waltham / Wickham and then going off into the countryside - someone mentioned meeting up on Brighton seafront which sounds like a good idea.

Anyway - forget the TVRCC cronies, this is open to ALL PHers, so lets get some interest going eh?
