I know there is a Le Mans thread however I wanted some help from fellow Tiv owners as I would love to venture off to the Le Mans Classic this year.
I have spoken to the TVR Club and Fasttracks too. However me and my OCD and loving my creature comforts, I don't do camping, tried it once and went fking Mental!!!

What I am looking for is a scenic route down to Lemans from Calais, then ideally check into a top notch BB or Hotel with secure parking and then drive down to the circuit and park up at the TVR Club In Field Circuit and soak up a little racing, a few beers then return to a little peace when I have had enough, and good food etc, etc.

Has anyone else gone down this route in the past, and yes I am being a snob on this one, but I just don't do camping and portable loo's.

If any of you guys are doing something similar to the above please drop me a line. This will also be the 1st time I venture out of the UK with the Green Goblin, so any other advice such as insurance, breakdown what to take etc, etc is all welcome as I am a complete virgin to it all.

Looking forward to some help on the above!!!!

Cheers

We are heading to the classic as well, however we are camping in the " private camping site" we are young both in our 20's just wink ( my 30th birthday from my other half) I fancy being close to it all and involved in the whole atmosphere.

We will be in hotels/b&b at some point as we are spending 10 days in France all in.

I don't know how I convinced my other half to camp she is not a massive fan either, does not phase me,

We did a euro tour in my chim years ago 3000 miles, best advice is. Make sure the car is prepared, tell your insurance and get break down cover, I carry a few spares and light tools. And relax and enjoy they are just cars and more than able to take you to France.

First euro tour in the Cerb aircon will be great this time round smile

Thanks Scott

One word of advice if your taking the Missus!!!!

Make sure you book some luxury hotels after the camping and not before.

Good Luck.
