Newbie with an Electric Green S2 111S

Hello everyone,

Been on PistonHeads ages, but 6 weeks into Lotus ownership, already on The Lotus Forums and SELOC, yet to venture into here yet.

Anyone attending the Lotus meet at Mercedes-Benz World tomorrow? My car will be there and part of the parade.

Unusual but lovely colour - more lively than LRG but not as in your face as the brighter greens. I loved the character of the VVC engine my previous Lotus, an S1 111S .

I'll be there tomorrow - mine'll be the Europa S with the gold wheels (I'm not in the concours though).

Very nice car. Love the colour and it looks in wonderful condition! My nephew asked me today would I ever get another Lotus (had an Elise and an Exige). I told him I doubt it (I want to get rid of my mortgage) but seeing this makes me think.....I more than likely will!

Ah was yours at the Newlands Corner meet recently? Looks nice.

Mine isn't concours, but helping organise the event has it's perks :P

Yeah that was mine . I thought I'd seen that green before - you were parked next to the orange Exige V6?

It'll be a more Lotusy concours - cars that are enjoyed . I think Russell's Europa'll be relatively fresh from a track day.

Yep that was me, was on the old factory reg ending in KFC then. Looking forward tomorrow, come say hi, I'll be the younger of the two MBW bods in suits on the event.
