Long time lurker here as they say, so be gentle with me.

I like reading the threads about best lease deals etc, but I couldn't find a thread that was along the lines of a new car for £99 a month with no deposit, or a pocket money deposit. What prompted me was an advert I heard on Capital FM from a midlands based dealership offering a Citroen C1 for £99 a month over 24 months if you pushed, pulled or drove any car with an MOT to them.

So, what is out there and is it a good deal or not, as this could be a viable option for my wife who only covers 3k a year.

Over to the better informed...

I paid £89 a month for a brand new pre reg Peugeot 107 a couple of years ago!

From my local main dealer too, and from memory no/very minimal deposit.

That was 24 months lease

Might be a typo but on a juke outside the Nissan dealer down the road they are advertising £79 a month! It's plastered all down the vehicle. No idea what the deposit or the terms are though.

A few pointless deals here, for example you can buy an M6 for 100 a month ( oh yes, plus an 80k deposit! but it has no place here)

I'd be interested in genuine deals for around 100 a month with very little/no deposit for a 'white goods' car to take to work / shops / general abuse!

There are plenty of crazy or non existent leases on the other thread!

Here you go, a decent deal for the C1:

http://www.freedomcontracts.com/Citroen-C1-3dr-1.0...

- All deals are on personal finance deal and prices include VAT. The car also has 14" alloys, A/C, metallic paint and a leather steering wheel which overall isnt too shabby!

Mileage Duration Deposit Monthly payment
5000 24 months £1,198.98 £73.19
10000 24 months £691.14 £115.19
10000 24 months £1,198.98 £91.19

There used to be similar priced deals for the UP a few months ago, but have almost doubled since. I dont think you can go wrong for the money.

Another alternative that is almost the same as the Freedom Citroen C1 option, except this is a 5 door Peugeot 107
http://www.nationwidevehiclecontracts.co.uk/Peugeo...

This looks close, but only if you can secure Business terms rather than Personal as the quoted Personal deal is more than Business + VAT. It has a lower deposit than the other options though.

This is exactly what I want and I was hoping that the thread title explained it clearly. Cash machine deposit and small repayments.

The deal sounds perfect and a car my wife would be seen dead in, so to speak.
If you can tell us the dealer and a link even or is it simply down to going to a dealer at the end of a quarter and playing the game?

I saw a Peugeot 107 emblazoned with stickerage for £107 deposit and £107 per month at Bristol Street in Northampton, but I wasn't in a position to stop and have a look at the finer points, as whether it was new, used or what.
