The original and iconic DB9 is a modern day 'classic Aston'. An understated and elegant curved beauty. The archetypal gentleman's GT; pure class.
The original DB9 is undeniably Aston's last old school traditionally styled Aston, before evolution towards harder edged styling. We'll perhaps not see it's like again.
I love mine, never tire of its looks or its effortless V12 grunt.
I won't be parting with mine any time soon. It's ten years since manufacturing started, débuting at the 2003 Frankfurt Motor show: Styled by Ian Callum, then considerably tweaked by Hendrik Fisker.
It's unquestionably 'The Daddy' of the Gaydon era. Past and present pictures welcome.

I'm with you 99%, Chris - the only thing I would disagree on is that I always saw my DeeBeeNoyne as beautifully feminine. If you park next to an NP Vanquish you'll see what I mean. Boy is love in the air! So well expressed by you all, the 9 is a work of art and engineering like no other car. The Vanquish is far to pumped up with more fashion in the design for my taste. The flash over powers the beauty of the curves like strutting your tail feathers to much when a casual stroll would be far more seductive. In the art of painting and sculpture, simplicity is always the key to success. With the 9, the curves, the lines, the elements of design dominate your vision. And the design, well it is a pinnacle of simplicity and beauty in my humble opinion.
