What is going on with the paragraph styling

I'm glad I'm not the only one that's noticed this. It looks bloody amateur.

From what I can tell it looks like the HTML is formatted incorrectly which indicates an error with the Content Management System or editor error. The code indicates that a <p> tag is started but then a <div> tag is started which, as far as I know, is not allowed. A Paragraph cannot contain a Div. In the case the browser may try to close the <p> tag before the actual text content = inconsistency. Bad HTML formatting.

Perhaps you could you give them an example, I assume you are talking about front page stories, all the ones I looked at were fine. Temporary problem maybe?

I imagine you're using the mobile site.

The desktop site is similarly broken on Android, Firefox, IE and Chrome.

Something's odd then, since your font is also different. Maybe you don't have the new font on your PC, or maybe you'll break it for yourself if you press Ctrl-F5.

Using Safari on a Mac and the formatting looks all wrong for me too as per the OP.

I get this on my phone, its a right pita. I have to make the screen big, then small, then big, then small, as my connection is usually piss poor it takes time to play catch up. Goes too big or too small.
Please fix this.

As mentioned above there's invalid formatting with div and p elements.

It would be nice if the font size could remain the same during an article. It is not easy to read the small size without spending some time reconfiguring my screen so, unless the article is outstandingly interesting, I tend to just read the paragraphs in the large size. I have not worked out your reason for using two sizes yet.
Failing standardizing on one text size that could you make sure the interesting bits are only in the large font size?
Or could you write the articles so that it still makes sense if only the large size is read?

It's unintentional, has been fixed, and is waiting for release. Four posts up.

Somebody else posted a thread specifically about the My Garage mess, and it got closed because of my posts mentioning it here, except noone has actually acknowledged those same posts.

Can I take it that it's known about and might be fixed?

I doubt it was intended this way, but I use it as my go-to source for keeping track of service history and running costs, so I value it quite highly.
