I hope this isn't too much of a stupid question, but are there any visual cues that distinguish the DBS volumetric and tilt alarm upgrade over standard?

not sure but if it helps, I understand any dealer can put the reg and/or chassis number of a specific Gaydon vehicle into their computer and come up with full list of spec / extras

Sit in the car, lock with the remote, wave your arms around. If the alarm goes off you've got the hi-spec unit.
