Does anyone have one of these fitted to their car (with or without silencer)? Any feedback on it would be greatly appreciated.

I have a Speedtech 2.5 "quiet" X-cellerator exhaust (silenced) on my 996 Turbo S, with 100 cell cats. It's quite a lot louder than standard, especially under load, but when you're pootling it isn't too antisocial. Not much boominess, other than a small amount around 3000rpm, and people outside and behind the car have commented favourably on how it sounds. If you want loud, then get the 3.0 version, but be prepared to break every track day noise limit in the land ;-)

I can't really comment on performance, as my car is otherwise standard, but it has made the throttle response much sharper - subjectively, it feels like the turbos spin up more easily, but then I have the larger K24s which have a bit more lag than standard.

Feedback from Ken at 9e was that it was easy to fit. Mine has Speedtech's own round tips which make alignment a bit more critical than if you get the version re-using the standard tips, and consequently I'm still not 100% happy about the way they sit in the bumper; I need to spend some time getting them to sit further into the cutouts.

Service from Speedtech themselves was great, very flexible and quick delivery. I'm a happy customer, although it has to be said, I've only had this exhaust and the standard one, so it's all subjective!
