Morning ladies and gents, I have just become a father to a little boy. Now we didn't know the sex so haven't decorated the little man's room but now I get to start.

I'm thinking of starting him off early and doing a tvr theme. I'm guessing a wallpaper is not readily available, does anyone know of somewhere that can make up a roll or two on request at a reasonable price. Failing that, I may have to go down the stencil route but if anyone else has any ideas, I'm open to suggestions.

I know it's a bit of a random question but I'm totally on proud father mode at the moment.

Now, forget the wallpaper, and go for something more practicable, after all, you are going to need somewhere to sit and a table to put things onhehehehe

Enjoy the moment, life dosen't get much betterclap

PS. Sorry about pictures being upside down but am a technophobe and don't know how to fix it. Still, you get my driftbiggrin

Any wallpaper will do as long as you stick it up with self tappers and silicone .

Congrats on the arrival of your son.
My first Grandson arrived 31st May and I've already got him two Matchbox Tuscans.
I think my TVR Scalextric may be coming out more in a couple of years too smile
I can't see Grangma being able to complain wink

Although carpeting the ceiling and having a TVR and spider wheel lamp shades is novel I don't think the new addition to the family will understand this crazy concept come to think of it neither do we;)

Hi Steven,

Hope your well and congratulations on becoming a dad.

Once he can tell the time you'll need a nice TVR clock.....

And another table option. Maybe not too child friendly though.....

You mention wallpaper being unavailable. You could make your own from a big stack of old Sprint mags or scanning a select amount of pictures.

However, I doubt the missus will be sold on the idea of turning the room into a TVR version of student lads room. Mine used to be a full wallpaper collage of cars, girls, booze and cigs ads, 'in' and 'cool' music heroes etc. You know the thing.

Might have to leave that for a few years though!, and let him do it.

Why not rename him Trevor and stick a TVR badge on the door. Parents are always trying to use unusual names these days, and I don't know of any of them being called Trevor.

Having a surname beginning with the letter P helped, my 9 month old son's initials are AJP.
