Fitting a turbo timer to a Tfsi Exige S2

My previous thread seems to have lost all the replies??

I bought a type 0 HKS TT the other day because I'm lazy and don't wear a watch! First off the TT itself is garbage, so I binned it.

Before I did so, I did take the time to try and see how it would fit. I'm hoping someone on here can help as it just didn't work? I'm assuming the thick brown wire (or green/yellow) from the ignition barrel will do as perm live and that the thick white wire is the one to tap into to keep the engine running without the key (the 2 small yellow wires are just additional ignition lives)...still the thing wouldn't work. I tried wiring the handbrake wire to a perm live just so it has a signal and assumes the handbrake is in place, could this be the problem? I really don't want to run a wire to the handbrake itself!

So my question(s) is, am I correct with the wires? is there a handbrake feed round the binnacle area for the warning light or can I just fool the TT by wiring to any 12v feed.
