Do you spend it on...

a) a perfect 1973 2.7 RS Lightweight

or

b) a 1974 3.0RS with racing history

Both in the classifieds for c.£900k.

What was the difference between the 3.0RS and the Carrera 3.0. 900K seems quite a high price but if money was no object that would be my choice.

I'd buy a beaten up replica RSR and go racing with that budget, all over the world! Screw noncing about in a road car for that sort of money...

Hmm spare Million ....

"Hello is that nine excellence?
Yes, can you build the engine on my GT2 so that it revs to 9K please?
You can? Super.
When do you want it?"

And a Carrera GT.

I'd just take more holidays and chill out. I love the '73 RS, but not that much. It's really not THAT special. Obviously those who really do have a spare million tend to have the lot and so it's not really a compromise for them. So if I had a spare £100M I might consider buying both those cars for my collection.

rofl too right

not sure why £1m wouldn;t be enough from anyone else though:

993GT2 450k
964RS 120k
911S 100k
924 CGT 40k
Carrera GT 300k

not necessarily garage queen examples - am I very out of touch?

I’d hold on to the money a bit longer and then buy all of the above as well as the perfect 1973 2.7 RS Lightweight and a 1974 3.0RS with racing history biggrin

I'd have Singer build me a Viper green car with all the singer trimmings and have a relaxed life with the change.
