After the first very successful Supercar Lunch at the Sheesh resturant, the next one will be on Sunday 21st September 2014.

Unfortunately we are going to have reduce the numbers a little so that it will be easier for everyone to park and leave.

Also you will now have to book a a seat for lunch as well, which you will need to do separately. Full info on table booking will be emailed out.

Vehicle eligibility has also changed, with only the following allowed.

Ferrari (All)
Lamborghinis (All)
McLaren (All)
Ford GT / GT40
Pagani, Koeneggsegg, Carrera GT etc.

Any other interesting Supercar will be considered (except 911's). Please get in touch with me.

Date: Sunday 21st September 2014

Location: Ye Olde Kings Head, High Road, Chigwell, Essex, IG7 6QA

Time: Supercars should arrive between 11:30am and Midday
Entry cost: Free, but must have booked lunch

Max number: Numbers are restricted to 50 spaces. If it goes over that, then I’ll create a reserve list.

Children: Only kids 11 years of age or older

Menu's:
Drinks menu: http://sheeshrestaurant.co.uk/drinks-menu
Food menu: http://sheeshrestaurant.co.uk/food-menu

How to add your name to the guest list:
Please email me the following details to sy@coldwirefilms.com and I will send you a "car pass" a few days before the meet.

If your name is not on the list, then you won’t get in. It’s a gated car park so you won’t be able to sneak in.

Will you be bringing a guest:

PLEASE NOTE: I am not being paid or getting any other consideration for organising this event.

If you have any questions, please post up.

Thanks to Stuart Theobald for the pictures

Looks like an awesome event so well done !

One question though, why no Porsche ? They are the best super cars ever.

Since he said 911 I'm guessing that does not exclude 'interesting Supercars' such as 959 918 & CGT

But why don't people see the 911 as a supercar ? They are better than Ferrari and lambos

The 911 range is one of the dullest cars around.

Quick, but way too clinical and bland.

Near-zero excitement for drivers, passengers or onlookers.

As dull a drive as a Gallardo...the Lambo built by Audi for people who can't handle real Lambos and who need 4wd and the interference of electronics to prevent their lack of talent behind the wheel getting themselves and others in trouble.

It ought to be about what the car's like for the driver, not whether it hits 11 on the posometer. every 911 is a joy to drive...the controls weighted just right, the chassis planted to the road.

The 911 is every bit as good/better than Ferrari or Lamborghini.
Its a supercar in every sense.

I agree...which is why the statement was as ludicrous as mine about the Gallardo, right? smile

Technically and pace wise yes, better in most cases, but it's just not a Supercar, live with it son!

And before you start I've got a 997 GT3 amongst other toys and it's one of my favourite cars, it's just not a Supercar

Depends upon your definition of a supercar. Is a stock 997 a supercar? Wouldn't be in my list. But then the Mondial, 308 amongst others wouldn't fall into that category either.

Certainly if I were putting together a gathering of interesting cars I would much rather have, say, rare 67S, than a Gallardo or stock 360.

What a ridiculous statement.

Especially coming from the bloke who started the "Golf R is the most amazing car in the world" thread (I may be paraphrasing slightly)
