Electric window motor
Discussion
The passenger side window motor has stopped working and only clicks when operated.
I have taken the motor off to make sure the mechanism isn't seized but there is no difference.
Has anyone managed to repair the CIM manufactured units and if not, what options can anyone suggest? From a search I found a great post from Norman about 3 different types fitted by TVR and it doesn't look as though the mechanisms are interchangeable with the motors.
Any suggestions/advice would be appreciated. Many thanks

How about this then?

I did a bit of digging into this a couple of months ago, and I was sure this was the same part. I think these might be handed the other way though - that is, you need a passenger one for your drivers door, and vice versa. I might be wrong though, I didn't need a motor after all.

An update is that I purchased a motor & tvrgit is correct in that you need an o/s Renault 5 GT Turbo motor if fitting to the n/s on an S series.
Also, for some inexplicable reason it looks as though TVR added an extra connector about a foot from the terminal that plugs into the motor. Worth checking this connector before diagnosing a motor fault.
Many thanks
