Anybody got one?

Saw one in the show room and looks really nice, not much plastic which is refreshing.

I'm tempted with this over a bonnie, anybody got any experience here?
Just a weekend toy for the country roads where I live.

I like these and do think they pull off the retro look better that the equivalent bonnie however the bonnie has a better built feel to it side by side the bonnie looks better quality.

I have the older W650, it great for tootling on the lanes and hardly uses any fuel. If you want to hoon about the Bonnie has slightly better handling and is a bit quicker, other than road performance there isn't an advantage over the W.

The Germans or is it Austrians have a W800 flat track series and those bikes look absolutely awesome!

It was in Switzerland, a mix of scrambling and asphalt racing all in one crazy track.

I love them and actually think they're better designed than the Hinckley Bonneville in all the important places (I have a Bonnie!). There's also some pretty stonking finance deals on them as well if you're that way inclined.

Good to here.

Colchester kawasaki said they could do a new one for 6.5k with 0%finance over 3 years. My misses got her vespa from them, service and place seem really good.
I may wait until later in the year to see if any offers when the '2015 models launched, anybody got any ideas on this?
We did this with the vespa last November, saved a lot.

Just looked on youtube at reviews of the W800. Seems to get great reviews. Quite fancy a retro style bike for pottering around on at weekends, so looked at more reviews.

Stumbled across this, which has to be the best/funniest bike review vid i've ever seen:

Yeah I've seen that, I watched fit a few times, really funny.

I love the bit about the brakes and green engine mount, that would annoy the hell out of me too!

I've been spending a bit of time on a W800 'Scrambler' built by Earnshaws Kawasaki up in Huddersfield. A bit of a leg burner and not the greatest cornering agility on the knobbly tyres but a great bit of kit for pootling about on.

Went to look at it, with the Moto Guzzi V7 (Stone) and Triumph.

I think it boils down to what you want. From reviews, the V7 is the inferior bike in terms of power and handling, but for me it would be the one as I already have a rocket in the garage and the V7 looks so nice and well finished.

Out of the Triumph and the W800 I honestly wouldn't know what to pick.

So, got a good deal on pre-reg bike. Collecting end of this week.

Is the extended warranty worth it? Another 2 years for £300?
