I reckon they'll call it a DB6.
You know how they like recycling the old names and numbers just to totally confuse us. laugh

They might do that, Call it DB12 and then shove a V8 in there.. confusion all round!

The small vantage should have been called DB8 as it would have suited it perfectly.

DB9K suits, but again knowing Aston it'll be the DB9 AMG

Wonder if they will launch it with a heavy inferior gearbox so they can bring out a Mk2 after the initial orders have been delivered and sell it again?

Let's at least hope they use a decent AMG (double clutch) gearbox and not start selling these old torque convertor automatic boxes (like they present now as new in the Vqs II beta with ZF-8-speed)

Perhaps they'll drop the DB tag altogether. After all it doesn't have any relevance to today's models.

It's going to be the DB- SL . The vantage wil be the DBSLK and the Vanquish equivalent will be the DBSLR.

They will have to retain the DB prefix, because by 2016 it will be a Daimler Benz jester

AM have now trademarked DB10 to DB14 - a surprise they had not done so years ago
