Hi folks. I was invited to take part in the convoy from Lamborghini Pangbourne to the Beaulieu Supercar Showdown on bank holiday Monday. Whilst the weather was a big disappointment, Craig still managed to get a decent turnout and the convoy was good fun.. particular highlights include a Ginetta which couldn't help but go sideways and an obscenely loud Aventador.

I took my camera along, here are a few of my favourite shots..

The loud Aventador which was a crowd favourite at the show:

The convoy ready to depart:

Best sounding Gallardo I've heard:

Convoy stopping from some photos:

GT3 kicking up some spray:

Rare moment when the roads were dry enough to use that fantastic V10:

Lovely Ferrari GTO had it's own tent keeping it out of the rain. I liked the carbon fibre centre cap details on this:

Some brave soul came in an Atom:

Murcielago doing the demonstration run:

Followed shortly after by a GT3:

The slidey slidey Ginetta:

And finally a cheeky shot as we were leaving:

Nice shots.

Out if interest, was the Mini owned by a lad called Martin?

No it was James (jamesf288 on here). Great car - no problem keeping up with the faster cars in the wet on the B roads.

Paul.

To be fair it was so wet everyone was taking it quite easy so it was hard to make any decent comparison!

I was glad to have traction control, abs etc in that weather.

Fair play to lezdix in his ginetta - no abs or tc!

Paul.

Sorry, I mean my comment not yours. Some would think it odd that of all the cars there, I chose a mini as being a great looking car.

Cracking photos Steve, thanks a lot for posting smile.

It was a great run down. As Paul said, the weather did limit progress somewhat.

Pork, you have a lovely Maserati smile

Cheers
James

Fair play to Mick (Dix) who's only reaction was a brief look and "nice catch"
