Just a thought whilst waiting to get my car back, was given two ecu keys when i bought it (one plastic one glass).
Should i also have been supplied with a proper key to open doors if the battery goes flat?

Yes, that is certainly the csse on current cars

as hashluck says, yes you should

standard with all cars for a good few years now has been glass ecu, plastic ecu & an emergency metal 'traditional' key

As said, yes you should. I also don't have mine and really should get it sorted before I get locked out.....

Thanks both thought that would be the case will get on to the dealer.
Mind they probably think its their car now as they have had it for 2 1/2 weeks and i only had it for 3 days!!!

I feel your pain Dealer has had mine for a month up to now. Hope to get it back this week though with 4 shiny new primary cats and eight new lambda sensors. I just hope they have fixed the problem that caused them to degrade in the first place........ best bit is that all the work is under warranty
