Does anyone know the history or have any background on the below 997 GT2?

Been in a fairly significant crash and is a CAT D, but looks repairable (for the right price)

Would be interested to know if anyone knows the car, particularly past condition and any details of the crash.

You are a car dismantler / seller of broken cars / car parts on ebay with this car listed on ebay at the moment.

Can't you ask the person who was last on the log book or wherever you bought it from?

Yes it was mine, I was on my way to sainsburys to buy a foamy latte , accident was in the car park. I hit a damp patch the size of a 2p at 15mph, the car swaped ends and spun twice before I could catch it.

All happened in the blink of any eye and I was on winter tyres at the time.

Guess that's why it's called the widowmaker. /s/ ;-)

No offence buddy but i doubt that can happen at 15mph

Lot of damage for the said speed

But each to their own glad you are ok

Car is repairable

elliot holder did you end up buying this as it sold within 24hrs?

Yes, I viewed it as it was a (salvage dealer)friend of mine selling it. I got offered first shout of it back in June and had it inspected, but in short decided it was just too much work for me.
It sold very quickly once it was advertised on ebay, a bargain for someone with the time and skills to repair it.
