The car has been in storage for a couple of years and while it has been fired up and moved over this period, it hasn't been by me.

I was moving the car today and was reminded of a noise that I had noticed ahead of storing it.

Long short it is a metallic multi point rattle from the front of the gearbox near the clutch when idling and out of gear. As soon as I depress the clutch pedal it goes.

It's one of those noise that it would be good to work out what it is.

I had this on one of my Mk1 Tuscans, it turned out to be the Trust bearing I think, I will look at the old invoice to check and mail you if I am right.

Thanks. It is definitely akin to a bearing breaking up.

Does the Tyohon still use the same T5 and slave cylinder arrangement.

Good question. It's a high torque box, we fitted it new as the original sequential box had been scrapped. I don't recall what it is. I know the clutch is a double plate unit and I think that is Racing Green's in house solution.

If it is a T5 box....Slave cyl bearing would be my 1st port of call. That's my guess.
After that? Input and/or output shaft on gearbox....
