I didn't make a song and dance about it but following some of the people who changed their exhausts, I decided to go that way.
Words like sequential firing, primary lengths and collectors was used....confused Err, if you say its good... smile I tend to go with the experts and not second guess them.
Long story short, ceramic coated manifolds and metallic substrate 200 cell cats were fitted (Not DAE). A good job and good quality items fitted, car went like stink.

This is where the romance faltered.
Starting up and pulling away it reminded me of the DBS, until I booted it. OMG eek It wasn't loud, it was seven trumpets kind of loud. Redline it and I know some BiB in the next county would be looking for me. The bottom line is that the novelty wore off damn quick as it was so loud I felt like a c0ck.
I cringed everytime I went over 4k rpm.
I considered machining up a little block to limit the opening of the exhaust valves or getting one of my geeks in the factory to replace the valve actuators with something proportional. Too complicated. Then I spotted a centre exhaust supplement from David Appleby. Having been very wrong about the sound of the first mod, I was worried I'd be throwing money at it and not solving the problem or making it worse. A chat with the lads over at DAE and I thought it worth the gamble because otherwise it was all coming off and going back to stock.
Anyway, today its all done. And the love is back. Its probably comparable to a stock exhaust in loudness, maybe a smidge louder, but with a more aggressive note. Now it burbles like the DBS when in town and howls like the 200cell in the open. But now with a manageable volume.
Exactly what I wanted, now I can enjoy the extra oomph without waking the dead and having every police car within 1 mile looking for me. Highly recommended, both the products and the people who work there.

Oh, and a word of warning, if you ever drop in for the whistle stop tour (which is very impressive) don't let them tempt you with carbon nom's...... oops.

All 'sounds' good to me if you'll forgive the pun! Is that a carbon look hydrowrap on the cover or the real thing? Looks good in either case.

Full carbon. The real thing, which is why it was so hard to resist. So good, they agreed to make one for our DBS too.
