£100K Garage: Leo Seymour
Fun is number one priority for Leo, from Renault 5 Turbo to a very rare Impreza STI
Previously owned: Fiat Uno 900cc, Ford Fiesta 1.6 Zetec, Renault Clio 1.2, Renault Clio 172, VW Golf GTI Mk3, Renault Megane 2.0, Subaru Impreza Turbo 2000 (x3), Porsche 911 (996) Carrera 2.
Currently owned: BMW 330i (E91)
On the shortlist: "Fun. I have absolutely no need for anything practical, and with a couple of exceptions I have always had cars that have been fun to drive so long may it continue!"
Subaru Impreza STI RA S201
Cost: £14,500
Balance: £85,500
Why I chose it: "Having owned three UK Turbo 2000s, I've always wanted a JDM Impreza. I'd like a special edition - preferably an RA or Type R but having spotted this there was no competition! Yes, it looks like it's ram raided Halfords, but it's such a rarity I would hope it retain most of its value."

Audi RS6
Cost: £32,000
Balance: £53,500
Why I chose it: "The sheer lunacy of a 570hp twin-turbo V10 estate is too much to resist! The running costs would be astronomical but, hey, it would only be used on long journeys. Actually, I'm not sure that makes sense... Any remaining money can be spent on servicing and running the damn thing. This one seems to have the right spec of Phantom Black and black leather - I might even debadge it for the ultimate Q-car look (although the massive exhausts and arches kind of give it away!)."
Audi RS6s from C5 to C7 available on PH here.
Porsche Boxster 3.4S
Cost: £16,995
Balance: £36,505
Why I chose it: "I'd like a nice manual convertible weekend car. This one has low mileage and a good history, and believe it or not I actually like the colour - it certainly wouldn't be the lairiest car in the garage with the S201 sitting alongside it!"
Get in the summer mindset with a Boxster from PH.
Renault 5 GT Turbo
Cost: £11,995
Balance: £24,510
Why I chose it: "I wanted a GT Turbo Raider, but it seems they're few and far between so I've had to settle with this left-hand drive Phase 2. I always loved these as a kid and just want to experience that turbo rush in something so light. There's no competition for king of 80s hatches."

VW Golf GTI
Cost: £23,450
Balance: £1,060
Why I chose it: "This is the daily driver - comfortable with the DSG 'box and the all round usability a Golf GTI brings. I would have preferred leather but couldn't find one in the right spec. Plus this leaves the grand total of £1,060 left over for some fuel!"
Latest used Golf GTIs for sale here.
Just because it left the factory like that doesn't mean its right.
Was it a homologation special? & if so what for?
That has to be the ugliest factory Subaru every - that takes some doing.
However yet AGAIN another £100k garage where someone has blown the major proportion of their budget on a fast estate car, sorry I just don't get it!

Personally I prefer the look of a wagon/estate/shooting brake to a saloon or hatch. I also like to take my dogs, mountain bikes and scuba gear places.
Seriously, I don't get this feature. People spend 100k on what are bloody awful cars that in real life they would never choose to buy with their own hard earned money, it's just a stupid competition to find who can buy the most ridiculous cars in the classifieds.
