Guys - loving my car. Want to try and sort my rattling doors though. Ive done a search and there is quite a bit of info on doors that rattle when driving but mine are a little different. They rattle when you close them and at no other time. Sounds a bit cheap (g/f comment !!), but she is right. Anyone any ideas how i can get a rattle free door when shuting?

Not had any door rattles, but the interior door panel is easy enough to take off - you just need to remove the 3 bolts underneath the door. From what you're saying it sounds more like the window frame/mechanism rattling than the latch then. Taking the panel off might help you identify the culprit.

The main reason for the door rattle when closing is from the glass. because the glass only sits between two brush strips as opposed to rubber strips as on normal cars, there is nothing to prevent the movement of the glass, hence the rattle.
Managed to make mine sound much better by fitting self adhesive sound deadoning pads, available from any good car audio store, these I have fitted to the inside of the door and on the inside of the door trim panel.

Thinking of 'Dynamat' ing inside my door's to try and cut rattle noise, whilst on the move.
Did doing this make that much difference ?
