I have a battery conditioner hooked up to the Tuscan on the drive. I have it on a timer to come on 3 nights per week for about 8 hours each. I set it up that way in the belief a battery should never be left on continuous "charge". Should I have it mains on permanently and would it regulate itself on & off ?

Reason for asking is the imobiliser has locked itself out and I'm told that whilst that is normally a random TVR-ism, it is sometimes associated with a dead battery.

Conditioners are designed to be left on continuously, they do more than simply charge the battery. It will do the battery more harm having it switching on and off...

Thanks, suspected that was the case.
