Hi All,

well brake pads purchased..nice little job for next weekend (fingers crossed on the weather)...

The Centre console is in a shocking state. It looks like it's had some leather stuck to it with glue by a 5 year old... So I was thinking of replacing it with a carbon fibre one like they have on elise parts. Then I figured I could consider replacing the sill protectors with carbon fibre one's too, but discovered they only sell S1 sill protectors... DOH!

Anyone know where I can get a matching set ?

Failing that a nice leather clad centre console would be good.. and just a standard set of new sill protectors?

thanks in advance,

Loving having a lotus back in my life!!

Slightly off topic, I'd be curious to know how difficult these sills and center cover are to install.
Is it an easy DIY job, or is it best to leave it to a specialist?

I think the sill covers are fairly straight forward... I will let you know on the centre console...looks a bit more tricky.

ok well I've got my new centre console... hopefully I might get to try and fit it at the weekend...

One thing though it does look very plain... Was thinking I might get something like this;
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/red-stitching-FITS-LOTUS...

Anyone tried this ? Or know what glue you can use ?

Maybe worth dropping the question on the ebay listing page.
