All the Figures are Wheel Horse Power bit typically we normally use 18% Drive Loss on the Gearbox.

MSL Box was with Weistec Down Pipes and Tuning Box
4TH - 4th Gear Run Weistec Down Pipe and Weistec ECU Tune

Hi
What are the prices for the down pipes and fitting time?
I'm looking to possibly get these fitted at same time as Capristo cat back.
Are these just the down pipes and then in need of cat replacement or sports cats?
Cheers and well done on the results

Can't comment on the price of the downpipes, (and Weistec's website is down at the moment) apart from the fact that they're not cheap. Think over £3k. They are however a quality product, with ceramic coating both inside and out. As for the fitting time it takes the best part of a day as the access is very restricted.

They replace both the downpipe from the turbo, and the intermediate pipe down to halfway under the car and have no cats fitted to them at all, hence the need above for the Weistec remap on the ECU.

It may be possible to fit a sports cat to them, though that's not something I'm looking at immediately as the car's a lot better since the map and not throwing check engine lights any more. smile

May be worth you speaking to Acid above, as he'll have some ideas cost wise and may also be able to offer you alternative solutions if you don't want to go the way above. There are lots of options and they have their own exhaust guy in-house for mods.

Thanks Dave, will speak to him, I'm happy with the DMS remap which I've been told won't throw up any codes if I go decat.
If I do go this route would I need to reverse it for the mot in a years time?
Also unsure if I should spend money on some cleaning products first!!

DMS may have mapped the downstream lambda out, which would explain their confidence in the lack of codes. This is done by several. smile

As for the MoT, it depends upon your tester and the car really. If it passes it's emission test, then all well and good, though they may still fail it for the lack of cats? Not sure about this. Mine's not due for another 18 months or so and I'll probably have altered a few things by then, if I still own it.smile

Don't worry about the muck on it by the way, at least it shows that it's being used...
