Mansory Lamborghini Huracan

Didn't take long! Mansory turns its hand to the Huracan, returns with 850hp

We may well associate Mansory with the worst excesses of automotive taste but, just occasionally, a car escapes relatively unharmed. See its Lotus Evora, for example. And, dare it be said, this latest Huracan based creation looks OK too. Nobody mention the Rolls-Royce Ghost...

Bad enough to drive a black on black Lambo?
Bad enough to drive a black on black Lambo?
Black on black worked just fine for Bruce Wayne's Lamborghini and does the job here too. The 20-inch front/21-inch rear wheel combo does seem to have skewed the ride height somewhat, but what's a tuner special without big rims? Mansory claims the carbon bodykit (including Aventador inspired rear wing) reduces weight but doesn't have an official figure. Whatever, there's now a solution for anyone who deemed the standard LP610-4 a little staid!

The Mansory creation will also be helpful for those left underwhelmed by the standard Huracan's 610hp. Through a turbo, new exhaust and fuel pressure regulator plus tweaks to the engine management, this Huracan is now producing 850hp. Yes, 240hp more than standard. Torque is up to 575lb ft from the standard car's 413. You would be right in thinking that makes it very fast. The Mansory Huracan reaches 62mph in 2.9 seconds and a 205mph top speed. Those aren't huge gains over the standard car though, with that bodykit presumably contributing a fair bit in drag.

According to Mansory, the interior "achieves the perfect symbiosis between dynamic functionality and luxurious ambience." How modest. As expected, the solitary pic of the seemingly Ann Summers inspired cabin shows much quilted leather. We'll assume the custom titanium nipple clamps are stored in the centre console.

Mansory will show its latest creation to the world at Geneva in a show stuffed with supercars at the start of March. Bring a lot of euros if you are tempted.

I kind of think it works. Lambo's are meant to be a bit mental aren't they?

Considering some of their earlier work, that's not the worst thing I've ever seen from them.

Far better than past efforts but still ugly in places especially ruining the year end. I'd leave the car looking standard and have the engine upgrade.

Ashamed to say it of a Mansory creation, but I quite like that. With some more appropriate wheels and a lurid colour scheme that would be very appealing indeed.

I read the thread title expecting to see yet another butchering courtesy of Mansory...

However, I think they've done a better job of creating a Lamborghini than Lamborghini have! I don't like the rear end, but that front is absolutely wonderful.

Yep, the downturn in certain commodities has ruined my year end. Can't blame Mansory personally though.

I like it, although the rear diffuser area is far too fussy. But far more restrained than their usual fayre.

I like it. Looks good smile Normally not a fan of Mansory or any of those sorts of aftermarket tuning houses to be fair, but this is definitely better than a lot of stuff they've put out before.

Oh no...this is not good - I really like that. *hangs head in shame* In fact, I think I prefer it to the standard car. I'm actually not bothered for the engine upgrade...I just think it finally looks like a Lambo instead of a Lambaudi.

That's how it should have come out of the factory.

That's how a Lamborghini should look, completely and utterly mental.

Presume that top speed is limited by gearing rather than aerodynamics? Anyway, 205 should be plenty!

Big old arch gaps - doesn't sit particularly well.

Quite a cool looking car though.

Good grief, did Mansory have a look at LP670 SV pictures and actually incorporate them in a Huracan body kit? Genuinely amazed. Credit where it's due, that is a good piece of work.

I think this works on account of the standard Haracan being pretty understated (for a lambo).
The McLaren 12C was fairly understated but for me at least it was in a nice way, a bit more grown up. But Lambo's aren't meant to be grown up they're meant to be completely bonkers! And the standard Huracan's styling just isn't bonkers enough. So I think Mansory have simply done what Lamborghini should have done in the first place.

Good job Mansory... for once. smile
