So I was at the Chicago Autoshow last week and stumbled across this fine looking beast on the Toyota stand. The FT-1 which is apparently the concept for the next Toyota Supra.

Talk about looking how an updated Sagaris would look! It was uncanny. Has one of the old TVR designers wound up at Toyota?

I wouldn't hold your breath though... the FT-86 was quite dramatic in the early stages and prototypes. wink

I picked up a US car magazine at the airport last week with an article on the new Supra. It does look the business.

The design in the video looks realy impressive and if they come close to the concept then I think this will be the benchmark for the new £40k - £60k sports car range. That is going to be a very interesting market for the new TVR. It is going to need something special to make it unique.

Nice legs, shame about the boat-race. The sides and rear are gorgeous! The front.....er.... I really don't like the nose.

If it hits market looking like that, I'd be very tempted.

That looks good ...but I doubt it will have the same character as the Sag.
