Hi guys, some of you may have seen my various threads about buying a DB9, and thanks to advice from you guys I was able to find what looks to be a very good example of a 2005 DB9.

Providing the bank transfer clears today, I shall be having a lovely Ghillies green DB9 from Nicholas Mee delivered - and the weather even seems like it may hold out!

I'll get some pics up asap!

Nice colour combo, very classic. The interior looks in fine fettle too, which is often not the case for that interior.

I have also got a Ghillies Green DB9, in Leicestershire. Sandstorm interior and walnut, too! Bought it from McGurk's in November. I don't think we can quite call these a common sight around here yet, though.

Looking forward to the pics,

David

Must confess when I was looking at DB9s I did like green. It is a classic AM colour and I think that and red looks really nice on the car. Whilst in the end I did not get a green one (I thought a lords red interior was different and nice) I think green does suit the car really nicely. No doubt it will put a smile on your face every time you drive it! Neil

Thanks for all of the positive comments guys, most have been "but why did you get a green one?"

It is indeed a beautiful car in lovely condition. It drives perfectly, but there are a few differences that I need to get used to - the very sensitive throttle and the n/a power delivery.

I also plan to get the updated sideskirts as per another poster on a black DB9 (sorry I can't recall who posted the pic) and some sort of sports exhaust as the sound is beautiful but lacks a little volume.

Anyway, here are some pics:

Green is a beautiful colour for these cars. Not seen enough...
Looks lovely. I would suggest you live with it as it is for a while before deciding on any changes. Each to their own, but that's a beauty to my eyes.
