Pagani Zonda 'Zozo' revealed

What, you thought Pagani had actually stopped producing Zondas?

It would appear the Pagani Zonda is aiming to grow old even more disgracefully than the Bugatti Veyron. While the big Bug has finally thrown in the towel (you would have to hope at least), the Zonda saga continues apparently unabated.

Hopefully cost was suitably exorbitant

Pagani's latest creation is the Zonda Zozo. Really, it is. Why? Because it has been commissioned by the owner of Zozotown, Japan's largest online fashion store.

But before we get too cynical about yet another Pagani, it's worth remembering this will surely be a phenomenal car. This car is reputedly built on a new carbo-titanium chassis and it of course still uses that magnificent AMG V12, which presumably is made in a very secret part of Affalterbach now. Rumours are the Zozo is built to a similar spec to Lewis Hamilton's '760 LH' Zonda, which would mean 760hp and a manual gearbox. Many man points if that is the case!

You will also notice on this car some slightly different styling. Above the (now blackened) standard Zonda lights there are additional red lenses, similar to those seen on the Zonda R.

Hopefully a full specification on the Zozo will emerge in due course with some better pics. You never know, this could actually be the last Pagani Zonda...

Do AMG still make the 7.3 V12?
More likely, Zonda stockpiled or assemble them from spare parts...

After all, 7.3 V12’s don’t grow in peach orchards.

Before AMG gave Pagani the monster engine to propel the Zonda, they built it for one of their own cars: the ferocious SL73. nuts

Merc will still make them but they have a very large run setup fee, hence pagani buy 100 at a time for the normal production

The car looks stunning and in my fav colour as well, you can keep your P1/918/lafezza cloud9

I'm not sure growing old disgracefully is the right phrase to use for these.

They're awesome looking cars and he's not built one for the sake of it to keep the dream alive, he's built it because someone rang up with a massive wodge of cash and wanted him to build it.

Not sure what hes supposed to do there... offer them a Huyarayayaua instead?

No, the man with lots of money wants a Zonda, a Zonda he will get.

They should never stop making the Zonda - most fantastic looking car ever built imo.

I'm all for it, if people have the cash then Pagani would be daft not to build them. The world is a better place with another Zonda in it.

I'd do it with a healthy lottery win. I'll have the 7.3 V12 in its 'Cinque' state, plopped into the body of an F with a manual 'box, finished in gloss black with gold wheels and a tricolore stripe down the centre.

Thanks in advance.

How do you think they can service them? Of course they will still be produced. Most manufacturers produce parts for cars until 10 years from Job Last.

yes This is the pinnacle of "analogue" supercars and for a lot of people is so much more appealing than the likes of the 918 / TheFerrari / P1, which seem like Nintendo, PlayStation and Xbox when compared with the Zonda's more "go outside and play on a real go-kart" charms.

I see all the rear lights. I'd assumed this is another PH failure to proof-read.
